Spot-claims is a process initiated by Policybazaar.com just for our customers. We work closely with insurers for providing you a hassle-free claim process and easy approvals in case your car is in an accident.

Having an accident is always an unpleasant experience. In order to make it easier, our spot-claims process is a free service for you to avoid further hassles of handling an insurance claim. And it all begins with a simple phone call.

About the Spot-Claims service

  • Is this an emergency service?
    • This is an assistance service for Claims & repair. You can get your damaged car repaired and the claim processed through this service and is not an emergency service. However, we will provide any assistance possible by us to help you at your time of need
  • I am not from any of the cities mentioned above. Can I still use Spot-Claims?
    • We are working towards adding other cities soon. Meanwhile, our team will still help in assisting you over call in getting it repaired at the garage (if the same is available as part of the cashless garage approved by the Insurer).
  • What if I am not satisfied with the repair done?
    • We do a thorough check before the car is delivered to you. However in case you aren't happy with the repair, our team is always available to re-assess and get it re-done at no extra cost in case of a valid issue.
  • Can I get my car regular servicing done under Spot-Claims?
    • As of now, we are taking care of services related to Car Insurance claims only. If you feel, we should add a service to our list, do drop us a line with your suggestions on spotclaims@policybazaar.com
  • What if my vehicle is damaged while it's on the way to the workshop?
    • Your Car is in the safe hands of our experts. The car will be picked and driven by one of our team of experts who are experienced in handling Cars for over a decade. They will ensure your vehicle is safe and you need not worry about any damages while in transit.
  • How can I trust your team?
    • All our Repairs & claims experts are well-experienced in the field of Automobiles and are well-accustomed to the process of repairs and claims. They are employed with our partners after thorough background checks by external inspection agencies.

About payments & garage network

  • Do I have to pay anything additional for this service?
    • No. This is a service being provided to PolicyBazaar customers without any additional cost. In fact, you can get some additional discount on some of the services from our Partner garages.
  • Will I be charged a different amount if I go directly to the garage recommended by your team or some other non-recommended garage?
    • No. There will be no difference in the amount charged by the garage irrespective of you going through us or directly. We only help expedite the complete process by coordinating with the workshop and insurer
  • How do I pay for the amount liable to be paid by me?
    • In line with our proposition of providing services at your doorstep, you will have the option to make payments to our partner Garage/Aggregator by using your credit or debit card at the time of the delivery or even through your PayTM Accounts where possible. Garage do support cash payments but we believe in the digital movement and recommend digital payments
  • Why are the workshops limited under this service?
    • We have tied up with workshops and garages basis certain checks and qualitative scoring at our end in terms of quick response, capability, capacity, quality, etc. Hence, we recommend these set of Garages for a better experience. If you have any other garage where you wish to get the repair done, our team will still help in assisting you over call in getting it repaired at the garage(if the same is available as part of the cashless garage approved by the Insurer). However, in such a scenario the guarantees and associated benefits of SpotClaims will not be applicable.
  • Can I avail this service at a garage which isn't part of your list?
    • If you have a garage outside our list where you wish to get the repair done, our team will still help in assisting you over call in getting it repaired at the garage(if the same is available as part of the cashless garage approved by the Insurer). However, in such a scenario the guarantees and associated benefits of SpotClaims will not be applicable.
  • What if I wish to visit the garage during repair?
    • This service gives you the comfort of not worrying about the work being done and everything is being taken care of without your presence. If you still wish to be at the workshop, you are absolutely welcome.
